Legal & disclaimer
This page carries the full educational-use disclaimer, our citations and sources posture, and our privacy note. Final wording of the disclaimer is being finalized with counsel before launch.
Educational use only
Educational use only. The clinical information referenced on this site and in Sospera materials is provided for general educational purposes only and is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, examination, or treatment by a qualified healthcare provider, and it does not create a provider-patient relationship. Sospera is a marketing and education service for clinical practices; we do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical care to patients. Newborn ear conditions and treatment timing vary by child - parents should always consult their pediatrician or a craniofacial / plastic surgery specialist about their child's care. Clinical statements are drawn from public literature (including AAP, CHOP, and Johns Hopkins sources); citations are available on request.
Citations and sources
Clinical statements on this site - the newborn molding window, the softness of newborn ear cartilage and the role of circulating maternal estrogen, the deformity taxonomy, and the timing of referral - are drawn from public clinical literature, including materials published by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and Johns Hopkins.
We do not present any clinical-efficacy claim about the Sospera service itself. Sospera measures and reports referral activity (in-window referrals recovered against a practice's own baseline); it does not claim, and does not measure, a patient clinical outcome. A full source list is available on request.
What we do, and do not, do
Sospera is a marketing and education service for clinical practices. We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical care to patients, and nothing on this site creates a provider-patient relationship. The treating clinician at a client practice owns every patient decision.
Privacy
This is a business-to-business website. The discovery-call form collects practice and business contact information only - your name, your practice, your role, a business email, your metro, and whether your practice offers newborn ear molding. We do not collect patient information (PHI) through this site.
Referral-analytics work for a client practice is performed under a separate written agreement that governs how that practice's data is handled. That work does not happen through this website.
